Cardiovascular & Circulatory

The cardiovascular system specifically refers to our heart, blood vessels, and blood. Nutrients and oxygen are supplied to our body via our cardiovascular system and it’s also the system that removes metabolic waste. Our blood is pumped through the tubular system by the force of our beating heart. Once the oxygen and nutrients are depleted, our blood returns to refuel, guided by our veins. The circulatory system is composed of the “routes” that circulating fluids take to service the body (blood and lymph). The circulatory system combines the cardiovascular and lymphatic systems and involves the heart, blood vessels, lymph nodes, and glands.
