History

Helichrysum has long been utilized for its therapeutic skin and medicinal benefits by people along the Mediterranean for centuries.

Oil Description

Helichrysum oil contains chemicals known as esters, which provide several emotional and grounding benefits. In addition, they are known to promote healthy skin when used on affected areas regularly. It also contains, neryl acetate, the sweet and fruity fragrance found in citrus oils and used in perfumed products. Helichrysum has a reputation for restoring skin, and is commonly used in anti-aging creams and serums. Several studies have found that active components in helichrysum help to lower blood pressure.

Cautions

Keep out of reach of children. Consult your physician if you are pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care. Do not put oils directly in your eyes (oils can drip into eyes – if this happens, flush with fractionated coconut oil, not water). Do not drip oils into the ear canal. Avoid sensitive areas.
