History
Oil Description
Lemon eucalyptus, eucalyptus citriodora, is a blue gum eucalyptus tree with lemon fragrance found in the northern region of Australia. Its oil is rich in citronellal and citronellol making it both a powerful cleaning agent, as well as an effective skin cleanser. Another one of its chemical components is isopulegol, also found in geranium and lemongrass. This unique chemical blend makes lemon eucalyptus essential oil the ultimate antioxidant and great mood lifter. In addition, lemon eucalyptus is one of the ingredients used in the TerraShield® outdoor blend, but can be used alone with citronella essential oil, and water to create a natural insect repellent.
Cautions
Use with a carrier for sensitive skin. Keep out of reach of children. Consult your physician if you are pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care. Do not put oils directly in your eyes (oils can drip into eyes – if this happens, flush with fractionated coconut oil, not water). Do not drip oils into the ear canal. Avoid sensitive areas.

Directions for Use
- Exhilarate and stimulate your environment by diffusing 3-4 drops of lemon eucalyptus essential oil.
- Boost your mood by adding 1-2 drops into the palms of your hands. Cup hands over nose and inhale deeply.
- Add 20 drops of lemon eucalyptus oil into a spray bottle with water and use it to wipe down surfaces in your kitchen or bathroom.
- Maintain oral health by adding 1 drop to toothpaste daily.
- For a healthy scalp, add 1 drop of lemon eucalyptus to your shampoo.
- For healthy skin add 1-2 drops of lemon eucalyptus oil to your daily face wash.
- For an invigorating massage, blend 3-4 drops of lemon eucalyptus oil with a carrier oil and gently rub onto the affected area.
- Natural insect repellent: blend 2-3 drops of lemon eucalyptus with 2-3 drops citronella essential oil in a spray bottle, and add water. Spray directly onto exposed skin, prior to heading outdoors.
