History
The neroli flower has been celebrated by the Egyptians and Arabs since as far back as 642 AD. Popularized in the 17th century by the princess of Nerola and Italy’s duchess of Braccino, Anne Marie Orsino, the neroli flower became a luxurious addition to their bathing practices, hence dubbed the name neroli.
Oil Description
Extracted from the flower, neroli essential oil is one of three different oils derived from the biter orange tree. For centuries the neroli flower and oil have been exalted for its tranquil aroma and overall effect on emotional health. Neroli can be used to help minimize stress and anxiety, promote peace and a clear mind, and support healthy skin.
Cautions
Use with a carrier for sensitive skin. Keep out of reach of children. Consult your physician if you are pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care. Do not put oils directly in your eyes (oils can drip into eyes – if this happens, flush with fractionated coconut oil, not water). Do not drip oils into the ear canal. Avoid sensitive areas.
