In the Christian Bible, it was notably the oil used to anoint the feet of Jesus Christ before the Last Supper.
Oil Description
Indigenous to the Himalayan mountains, Spikenard, or Nardostachys Jatamansi, is a part of the Valerian family. Its wide variety of therapeutic benefits make this essential oil just as useful today, as it was in the ancient world.
Cautions
Use with a carrier for sensitive skin. Keep out of reach of children. Consult your physician if you are pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care. Do not put oils directly in your eyes (oils can drip into eyes – if this happens, flush with fractionated coconut oil, not water). Do not drip oils into the ear canal. Avoid sensitive areas.
