History
Lavender has been used for thousands of years for its calming and therapeutic properties. Romans used lavender for calming baths and to soothe the skin. Greeks crushed and burned the plant to create a soothing aromatic experience. Lavender has also been referred to as Nard, after the city Nardus. The use of Nard can be found in the bible. French scientist, René Gattefossé, one of the father’s of aromatherapy, was first to reveal lavender’s benefits on a wide scale.
Oil Description

Cautions
Use with a carrier for sensitive skin. Keep out of reach of children. Consult your physician if you are pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care. Do not put oils directly in your eyes (oils can drip into eyes – if this happens, flush with fractionated coconut oil, not water). Do not drip oils into the ear canal. Avoid sensitive areas.
